LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – Last night, Tim Stover won Magistrate Division 1 in Greenbrier County.
The former Chief of Police won against James Childers, Todd Williams, and Martha Fleshman with almost 3,000 votes. Stover says he’s eager to take on his new role in January.
“Well, obviously the magistrate office has its procedures, we’ll be doing a lot of arraignments and issuing warrants. A lot of the work the magistrate does it kind of cut and dry, I’m just excited to get in there and get to work,” said Stover.
Due to Magistrate Division 1 being a nonpartisan election, Stover will start his new position in January 2021.
