FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY)- It’s time to follow the yellow brick road right to the Gaine’s Estate for the Historic Fayette Theater’s annual gala! This year’s theme is the Land of Oz, so on August 9th, it’ll be time to see the wizard.
Everyone is invited to come in their best Ozian attire or even their favorite character in the franchise for the costume contest this year. There will also be raffles, a silent auction, a signature cocktail at the cash bar, and music for all to enjoy.
The gala is an annual event to help raise money for the theater, and it has been a hit since its start in 2023.
Tickets are $75 per person, but right now there’s an early bird special, and tickets will only be $65 per person.
So if you want to be popular like Miss Galinda, then they hope to see you in the Emerald City in August.
