Thursday Leads to More Strong Storm Potential; But Multiple Dry Days Ahead

We will be watching a cold front moving through our region this evening. This line of showers/storms will have the potential to produce strong to severe wind gusts of 40-60 MPH.

We will have more of a severe weather threat on Thursday as we await another system. The SPC has basically the whole state of West Virginia, damaging winds appear to be the main risk there as well. We will continue to track that threat as it evolves over the next several days.

Here is the European model over the next 7 days; over 2 inches of rain for multiple areas are forecasted by it, but almost everyone recieves good measurable rain. Most of this rain falls on Thursday and Friday.

Most of the upcoming week will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the 70’s. Before the next chance of showers/storms Thursday and Friday. Once that passes, we will start to clear up yet again going into next weekend with temperatures maybe approaching 80 yet again.
