Brooks, WV (WOAY)- If you use owl pellets for environmental education, the Three Rivers Avian Center has you covered.
The sanctuary saves and sterilizes owl pellets from their great horned owl Hoolie, Dawn, the barn owl, and Riffle, the barred owl.
Anyone interested in using pellets for classrooms or educational events can purchase some from the center for $0.50 each, plus $10.00 shipping and handling.
Each mailing includes a chart to identify the bones in the pellets that can be copied.
Deliveries will be made within one week.
