Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Three people have been arrested after a shoplifting incident at Walmart in Fayetteville.
On Saturday, March 21, Fayetteville police officers responded to the Walmart on Town Center Road after receiving reports of multiple shoplifters.
Officers found a broken-down vehicle in the parking lot with stolen merchandise hidden inside and underneath the vehicle.
While attempting to gather the merchandise, one male subject was detained, and two female subjects fled on foot. Both were caught after a foot pursuit.
The three subjects stole around $1,358 worth of merchandise.
Clarissa Blevins faces charges of grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, fleeing on foot, and obstructing an officer.
Cynthia Simpkins is charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, and fleeing on foot.
Raymond Davis is charged with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony.
All three were transported to the Southern Regional Jail.
