MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Several communities are without power due to an outage that started earlier this afternoon.
The AEP outage map reports at least 6,171 residents are without power in Mercer and Summers counties as of 3:45 p.m. It’s unclear what caused the outage around 2:50 p.m., but the estimated restoration time isn’t until 10 p.m.
