The West Virginia State Police is accepting applications

Charleston, WV (WOAY) – The state of West Virginia will have more troopers on the job soon.

The West Virginia State Police is now accepting applications for the 75th and 76th cadet classes. The 75th cadet class will consist of current West Virginia certified officers. That class will be an 8-week accelerated course starting September 9, 2025. The 76th cadet class will be a traditional 22-week course and will begin on November 3, 2025.
