Frankford, WV (WOAY) – One Greenbrier County elementary school has earned funds for a much-needed upgrade.
Greenbrier County Schools announces that the West Virginia School Building Authority (WVSBA) has awarded $6.7 million to address Frankford Elementary’s safety, accessibility, and infrastructure needs, highlighted in the 2020-2023 Comprehensive Educational Facilities Plan.
The school will undergo a $7,307,000 renovation and construction project using the WVSBA award and an additional $607,000 from Greenbrier County Schools.
According to a Greenbrier County Schools press release, the project will provide the school with an improved bus and drop-off loop, electrical upgrades, connecting corridors, additional classrooms, and more.
