Beckley,WV (WOAY) Community leaders are coming together to help young people make healthy, drug-free choices by hosting a youth opioid prevention event.
The Summit Kollective will host the Spark your Path Workshop on Monday, December 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event takes place at the Southern West Virginia Multicultural Center at 100 Washington avenue in Beckley.
The workshop is open to youth ages 11 to 18 and focuses on leadership, empowerment, and real conversations around substance use.
Meals will be provided.
Organizers are inviting community partners and sponsors to get involved.
