Love Hope Center for the Arts and The Freefolk Brewery are teaming up to bring a one of a kind art competition to Hico, West Virginia.
The showdown is an art competition with artists coming from all over the mountain state and all the proceeds are going directly towards supporting Love Hope.
“We are really excited about this event, the showdown. We’ve got 12 artists that are coming from across the state. We’ve got Morgantown, Charleston, Fayetteville, and Oak Hill,” Stacey Tope, Executive Director for the Love Hope Center for the Arts said.
There will be over a dozen food trucks at the event as well as a wide selection of craft beers and at the end of the competition, the pieces will go up for auction.
The money that is raised is going directly to the love hope center for the arts supporting a great cause and an amazing nonprofit that works tirelessly to keep the arts alive in southern West Virginia.
Tickets can be found at www.lovehopearts.org/events and they are donation based, meaning pay what you can.
