BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – Congresswoman Carol Miller announced this week that four Southern West Virginia airports will receive grant funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Raleigh County Airport Authority will receive $368,421 to repair the existing taxiway and runway at Raleigh County Memorial Airport.
“These are projects that the cracked ceiling will prolong the life of the pavement and that’s the important of us to extend the life of the taxiway and runway,” said Airport Director Tom Cochran
Cochran says the airport taxiway and runway has not been replaced in over 20 years.
