Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – There was an investiture ceremony in the Mercer County Courthouse on Thursday.
The Honorable Judge Brian Cochran was robed to fill the vacancy left when a judge retired. Judge Cochran seems to have an extensive resume that will certainly suit him for the bench.
The new Judge addressed the many family, friends, and colleagues gathered with words of gratitude. He also emphasized a certain quality of character which he intends to bring to the bench.
