FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- If you wanted to join the police force as a kid, now is your time because the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is taking applications. Applications will be available starting on November 13th.
Requirements for the application go as followed:
Be 18 to 45 years old
Have a high school diploma or GED
Pass a written civil service exam
Pass a physical fitness test
Undergo a complete background investigation
Have basic computer typing skills
Applications must be turned in no later than the close of business day at the clerk’s office on Monday January 15th, 2024.
