Charleston,WV (WOAY) Families can ring in the New Year a little early at the Clay Center with Noon Year’s Eve, happening from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The all-ages celebration features an official countdown to noon in the Grand Lobby, complete with a larger-than-life science demonstration, an apple-juice toast, and an epic dance party to welcome the “Noon Year.”
Activities throughout the day include New Year’s Eve hat making, build-your-own noisemakers, a countdown dance party leading up to noon, and a Year in Review planetarium show highlighting major astronomical moments from the past year.
Guests can also share their hopes for 2026 at the Resolution Wall, creating a colorful collage of goals and dreams for the year ahead.
