PRINCETON, WV (WOAY)- November is flying by and that means Christmas is just around the corner.
The City of Princeton will be holding the annual Christmas parade on December 6th at 7 pm. However, they are still looking for parade entries.
The theme for this year’s parade is ‘Jingle Bell Jubilee’. Everyone is encouraged to participate; from schools to businesses to groups, the more the merrier. The entry fee is $25, school entries however are free.
Those who wish to join in the march through downtown can visit the city hall or contact the event coordinator with the contact information listed below.

The deadline to register is Monday, November 25th, a week from today. However, if you do turn in a form after the fact, you won’t be turned away.
While the theme deals with jingle bells, you don’t have to stick to it as Madison Gunnoe explains.
“So this year’s theme is the Jingle Bell Jubilee. We are very excited about the parade this year,” said Madison Gunnoe, Event Coordinator with the City of Princeton. “We’re looking forward to seeing how everybody decorates their floats. Just Christmas. You know, it doesn’t really have to be the theme per se, as far as how they decorate their floats. But as long as they’re decorated and just Christmas lit up and bright colors, we’re excited about it.”
