FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- On Sunday, June 1st, local youth who are visually impaired or blind will come together for some weekend fun. The Children’s Vision and Rehabilitation Program will hold a fishing event at the Fayette County Park.
This is a part of the children’s vision and rehabilitation program adventure camp. The purpose of this camp is to provide teens with the opportunity to learn new skills while building on existing ones to foster their independence.
This is the first year that CVRP has partnered with the Natural Resources Department, Fayette County Parks, the Oak Hill Lions Club, and the Cabell Wayne Association for the Blind.
