The best places to see fall foliage colors this week, according to WV Dept. of Tourism

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia Department of Tourism has issued its third official 2026 foliage report.

This week’s top destinations to see fall foliage include Babcock State Park, Summersville Lake State Park, Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park, and the new River Gorge National Park & Preserve.

The fall colors aligned perfectly with Bridge Day this weekend, and there is still time to see some beautiful views at a fall getaway.

Travelers and locals are invited to join the conversation on social media by using #almostheaven and tagging @wvtourism with photos to help create the state’s weekly fall foliage updates.
