Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley Fire Department is reminding local business owners to make sure their buildings are up to code and, if necessary, renew their certificate of occupancy.
Captain Chris Graham was recently appointed Fire Marshal and Building Code Official for the city.
He says his department is now actively reaching out to businesses because something as simple as a name or ownership change means that their certificate needs to be renewed.
