Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The annual Oak Leaf Festival in Oak Hill kicks off tonight at 6 p.m. at the lively amphitheater.
Lee Dan will host a dance to the oldies; it’s the first in a string of evening events this week, including live music, an off-road vehicle show, and even a battle of the DJs.
Things really pick up on Saturday with a pumpkin weigh-in, parade, photography contest, cruise-in, and more.
There will be a car show on Sunday and other events before concluding with fireworks at dusk.
Getting the festival ready is a major effort that takes months.
