Ronceverte, WV (WOAY) Another community walk is taking place this weekend to bring people together in remembrance, hope, and support of suicide prevention efforts.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is hosting an out of the Darkness community walk in Greenbrier County on Saturday, September 26th.
Walkers will meet at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center at 1320 Maplewood Ave in Ronceverte.
Check-in begins at 10:00 am with the walk starting at 11:00 am.
The walk is dedicated to providing an opportunity for people to honor loved ones and recognize the impact of suicide and mental health conditions.
Anyone interested in joining the walk must register in advance at afsp.org.
