Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) The 8th Annual Thunder in the Mountains Pow Wow is returning to Fayetteville this weekend.
The two-day event takes place October 10-11 at Cantrell’s Ultimate Rafting.
Attendees can experience native American culture through traditional drumming, dancing, native food, and local vendors.
The event will also feature an Aztec dancer, Danny Osorio, and the dance group Kalpulli Kamaxtle Xiuhcoatl.
Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 to 17.
Children 5 and under, veterans, and first responders get in free with proof of ID.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Organizers are also seeking native vendors and demonstrators to participate.
