Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The 47th annual Bridge Day event is set for October 17!
The event brings tens of thousands of people to the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayette County as base jumpers flock from all over the world to jump off the 876-foot-tall structure.
The event offers hundreds of vendors and incredible views of fall foliage in the gorge that you can only see on Bridge Day.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but Route 19 will be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
