Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Terry Road, near Prince, is now fully open, providing all those living along the road with access to Route 41.
The road was made impassable during Tuesday’s storms as runoff washed out a culvert, taking a section of the road with it.
The Division of Highways was on the job early Wednesday morning with hopes to have the road passable again as soon as possible. By Thursday, the DoH had new culverts installed and backfill in place.
Clearing out the old culvert and hauling debris out, then materials and backfill in, was the challenge of the day, and it was one the DoH efficiently met.
