Summers County, WV (WOAY) – The Summers County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a teacher after an investigation into an alleged fight involving two juveniles and the teacher.
The teacher, Ashley McMillan, has been charged with one count of child abuse resulting in injury by a person in a position of trust and one count of battery.
The Sheriff’s Office says the altercation happened at Summers County High School. Two students were involved in the fight. McMillan allegedly intervened and assaulted one of the students.
The Sheriff’s Office said the Summers County Board of Education cooperated in the investigation.
