Tazewell, VA (WOAY) – The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office is giving citizens the opportunity to a legally carry a concealed weapon.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Deputy’s will be hosting a concealed weapons class at 8:30 a.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church, located at 2902 Clinch Street in Richlands, Virginia.
Tazewell County Sheriff Brian Hieatt says: “When faced with danger from a violent criminal you have choices; hide, run or defend yourself. Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family.”
