Tazewell, VA (WOAY) – Deputies with the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office are investigating complaints regarding an illegal dumpsite.
According to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office, the illegal dump is at the Raven Transfer Station in the Boissevain / Cedar Bluff area.
As a part of the ongoing investigation, deputies placed cameras in the area to collect video and still images of suspects illegally dumping. According to investigators, they have identified some subjects, and charges are pending. However, they still need help from the public to identify other persons of interest.
