Tazewell, VA (WOAY) The Tazewell Police Department is helping pet owners keep their furry family members safe.
The department is hosting a free Pet ID event on Saturday, June 13th, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Tazewell Police Department on Hillsboro Drive in North Tazewell.
Pet owners can bring their dog or cat, or bring a recent photo, to create a Pet ID card to help authorities locate a pet if it goes missing or is stolen.
The event will also feature free chiropractic adjustments for pets, provided by Aspire Wellness and Chiropractic.
