Tazewell, VA (WOAY)- A treasured event is coming back to Tazewell County.
Old Town Revival at the Back of the Dragon is returning to the town of Tazewell for its fourth year.
It started last night and will run through Saturday.
Old Town Revival is based out of North Carolina, traveling to small towns for festivals to help bring revitalization.
There are live bands, motorcycle stunt shows, a demolition derby at the Tazewell County fairgrounds, and, of course, the Back of the Dragon on Rt. 16.
Larry Davidson, owner of a restaurant named Back of the Dragon, says an event like this is so important to help grow business in the town of Tazewell.
With the Back of the Dragon celebration starting this weekend, the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Department has implemented a familiar tool to help with speeding on Route 16.
