Tazewell County, VA (WOAY) – A local museum in Tazewell County is bringing back an event for the 22nd year.
The Tazewell County Old Time Bluegrass and Fiddlers’ Convention is returning at the Crab Orchard Museum in Tazewell.
The fun kicks off Friday night with various bands taking the stage. On Saturday, the individual instrument and band competitions begin, alongside the lifetime achievement awards, which recognize individuals who have made a lasting impact in Appalachian music.
Tickets on Friday are ten dollars, fifteen for Saturday, and a weekend pass is twenty dollars.
Cynthia Farmer, the Executive Director of the Crab Orchard Museum, says it’s just a great time to get together and enjoy the Appalachian heritage.
