Tamarack host pride inspired gallery exhibit for pride month

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – June is pride month, and to help celebrate Tamarack is hosting a pride inspired gallery exhibition called Vividly Chromatic: Pigments of Pride.

Starting Saturday, June 20, 2020, at noon, locals can visit Tamarack and see art from local LGBTQ artists. Each piece of art will be up for sale. Visitors are encouraged to wear masks and follow the 6 feet social distancing guidelines.

“No matter what type of artwork you like, whether its realism, watercolor, or sculpture, we have a piece for everyone here. The way that we have arranged them in the gallery is a rainbow. It starts red and goes through all the colors of a rainbow. That way, when anyone comes in, it’s a fully immersive experience of joy, color, and vibrancy for everyone to enjoy,” said gallery director Mandy Lash.

The gallery exhibition is free to attend.
