Nimitz, WV (WOAY)—Summers County Sheriffs have a suspect in custody for breaking and entering and arson.
According to the Summers County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff J.L. Faris responded to a call reporting a possible arson at a Dollar General store in Nimitz on Sunday, March 16.
After officials extinguished the fire and reviewed surveillance, authorities determined a breaking and entering occurred.
Sheriffs were able to identify the suspects from the footage.
On Monday, March 17, Sheriff Faris obtained an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Isaac G. Brown of Jumping Branch on charges of second-degree arson, breaking and entering, felony destruction of property, and petit larceny.
Authorities located and arrested Brown, who is currently in Southern Regional Jail on a $200,000 bond, awaiting further court proceedings.
