Sunshine Returns Then Seasonable Pattern Arrives

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY-TV): The rain has ended and Mother Nature has bright patches in our forecast before colder changes return.

TONIGHT: The sky will clear a bit as the wind switches direction to the northwest and ushers in drier air.

THURSDAY: Vitamin D Alert! The sun returns in lengthy stretches!

FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY: Low pressure will trigger a few flurries late Friday into early Saturday with a dusting above 3,000 feet only. The remainder of the region won’t see any accumulation.

NEW YEAR’S EVE INTO NEW YEAR’S DAY: New Year’s Eve will be dry and seasonable. A second low pressure limited in moisture promises us a light dusting of snow by late on Monday into early Tuesday. If there are any school delays due to icy roads, they would likely be in Pocahontas County only.

FIRST WORK WEEK IN JANUARY: No major storms on the horizon; it will be seasonable and dry.
