Summersville, WV (WOAY) Two longtime members of the Summersville Police Department are being honored for their service.
K9s Nommie and Erna are officially retiring after years of working alongside their handlers to protect the community.
Both were recognized with plaques from the Chief of Police and the Mayor for their dedication and commitment.
The department says their impact will not be forgotten.
