Pipestem, WV (WOAY)- The Summers County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting.
Sheriff Justin Faris tells WOAY that the shooting occurred overnight at the Rock Ridge Bar in Pipestem.
Sheriff Faris says a female bystander was shot in the leg. She was then taken to WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.
Summers County Deputies arrested and charged 26-year-old Raesean Tyrell Smith of Beckley with Brandishing a Weapon, Wanton Endangerment, and Shooting within 500 feet of a Dwelling.
Authorities are expecting to make more arrests related to the shooting.
