SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WOAY)—Due to this drought, Burn bans have begun in multiple areas in our viewing area.
This weekend, the Summers County Commission issued one for the entire county, prohibiting all outdoor burning until further notice. This comes after other counties have also issued bans.
Reminder: As of now, the following counties have issued bans: Fayette, Greenbrier, Nicholas, and now Summers County.
