Students Against Destructive Decisions to hold first-ever virtual conference

PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) -Students Against Destructive Decisions is holding their first-ever virtual conference.

The conference was delayed for months due to the pandemic and will be held over ten days. Trevor Darago with Community Connections in Princeton is the West Virginia coordinator for SADD, and he says it’s incredibly important that students still receive the positive messages that SADD  brings.

“It’s most important for our students to still get the prevention messages, especially the messages of inspiration and self hope. Because it’s hard to keep that during the pandemic. It’s hard to stay positive and keep that bright light,” Darago said.

The conference begins August 20 and lasts through August 30, and is available to be viewed online by anyone.
