Showers and storms between 8 p.m. and Midnight will generate new flooding across our region as a cold front pushes through. Be mindful that swollen creeks will flood and there will be more water crossing roadways. Flood Watches SHOULD BE reissued by the weather service along and south of I-64.
Below is the weather outlook through next week:
Moderate flooding impacting Marlinton along the Greenbrier River will continue until Friday at midday.
Minor flooding is expected on the Greenbrier at Alderson on Friday.
Minor flooding will continue on the Gauley at Camden through Friday before dropping below flood stage.
Howard Creek is flooding portions of the Greenbrier Resort. Levels will recede on Friday.
