BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – This morning, Stewards Individual Placement Program hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new office in Beckley.
Stewards Individuals Placement Program places AmeriCorps and VISTA Members in communities across America for a year of volunteer service to help strengthen communities.
“We’re Beckley’s best kept secret because we supported 714 interns across this country in 2019. Our records are showing that’s going to increase throughout the year. Nobody knows we’re here or what we’re doing,” said Corps Director April Elkins Badtke.
