State police: one arrest made in Summers County murder investigation

SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WOAY) The West Virginia State Police are conducting a homicide investigation in Summers County.

According to First Sergeant Keaton with the West Virginia State Police, troopers were dispatched to 19683 State Route 12 in Forest Hill on May 21 to a report of an unintended death.

The victim, identified as Johnny Edward Lind, was found lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

After a lengthy investigation with the WVSP crime scene team, troopers obtained a warrant for Curtis Brian Pack on July 1st and charged him with murder.

Pack was already incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail for unrelated charges.
