BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A task force made up of members local, state, and federal agencies served a search warrant at a house in Beckley yesterday, resulting in one arrest and the seizure of a quantity of fentanyl.
The warrant was served at a house on First Avenue. Officers arrested Joseph Daquan Scott, a 25-year-old man from Beckley, on charges of delivery of a controlled substance.
The task force found three firearms, 62 grams of suspected fentanyl, and $3,400 in cash.
The warrant was served by the Beckley Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crimes task force. It is made up of members of the Raleigh County sheriff’s office, West Virginia State Police, Beckley Police Department, FBI, and ATF.
