Ronceverte, WV (WOAY) – The Mountaineer Horseshoe League, based in Ronceverte, will be hosting the 88th annual state horseshoe tournament Saturday, August 29 at Island Park in Ronceverte. The pitching begins at 8 a.m. and is expected to last until around 5.
The tournament alternates each year between Ronceverte and Fairmont. The deadline to register has passed, but it is free and open to the public.
There are 35 pitchers registered for the state tournament, including one lady.
The Mountaineer Horseshoe League is always looking for new memberships, and they welcome all to join.
