Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) – The State Fair of West Virginia is everything and more this year.
It’s the 100th anniversary of a staple of Mountain State culture that honors our heritage, and we want to celebrate in a big way.
Vendors are finalizing their preparations; it’s time to pull the event together and get ready for the fairgoers.
“Of course, we’ll have the traditional fireworks on both Saturdays of the fair. But Friday, August 15, we’ll have a drone show. We’re super excited to have that on property,” said CEO Kelly Collins.
According to Collins, they completed their 2025 grandstand lineup with Kansas and 38 Special.
“That was our final announcement. We’re excited to have those rock legends hit the state fair’s mainstage, and we’ve got sold-out concerts with Zach Top,” the CEO said, adding that Miranda Lambert tickets are almost sold out. “So don’t wait if you want to get a Miranda Lambert ticket.”
“She was actually at the state fair 20 years ago, so it’s exciting to have her come back and celebrate our 100th anniversary,” said Collins. “We have a sea lion show. I mean, how many times are you going to see a sea lion in West Virginia? We offer a variety of free entertainment included with your concert ticket. And it’s gonna be a good time.”
