Spring Creek Bridge closing on Monday, August 10th for repairs

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announces that the Spring Creek Bridge will be closing, according to Adrian Lusk, District Nine Bridge Engineer.

The closing will begin on CR 219/2, Crane Road, on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. for bridge repair work.  The project is located between milepost 2.54 to 2.58, 2.6 miles northwest of Renick at the intersection of CR 9, CR 5 and CR 219/2.   This section of the road will be closed until the work is completed.  Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the road will re-open before sunset on Friday, September 4, 2020.  Detours will be in place, and the detour routes will be CR 219/2, US 219, and CR 9

WVDOH expresses their apologies for the inconvenience this may cause the citizens and guests to the area.  Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and use caution while traveling around the work zone.

The anticipated completion date for this project is September 4, 2020.   However, please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule.
