Beckley, WV (WOAY) Southern West Virginia Housing is asking for your help to keep people in our community safe after dark.
The organization is collecting donations of reflective safety gear for people experiencing homelessness and for those who walk without transportation.
Items such as reflective vests, arm or ankle bands, and clip-on lights can make a big difference in helping drivers see pedestrians at night and preventing serious injuries.
The organization is also accepting monetary donations to purchase gear in bulk.
Donors can drop off donations at Southern WV Housing on 2955 Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley.
