Kanawha County, WV (WOAY) – United States Attorney, Moore Capito, announced that the Southern District of West Virginia collected over 4 million dollars in criminal and civil action in fiscal year 2025.
Over 2 million was collected in criminal actions, and over 1 million was collected in civil actions.
Also, the Southern District of West Virginia worked with other U.S. Attorney’s offices and the Department of Justice to collect over 2 million dollars in criminal and civil actions.
Finally, the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Southern District of the state, with partner agencies, collected over 1 million in forfeiture actions in fiscal year 2025.
