Some students back in class as soon as Thursday

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – With a new color on the map, Fayette County students will see the inside of a classroom this week.

Fayette County will finally welcome some students back into classrooms on Thursday as others return on Friday. Students should expect strict guidelines as they return to class.

“We are going to require students to have masks on,” says Superintendent Gary Hough “This is not going to be just ‘come back to school.’ There’s going to be limitations on how they congregate and what they do. We ask every parent to support us in that, help us get that compliance.”

Hough says they couldn’t be happier about the change, as many students have struggled with the online format.

This is a developing story. See the full report tonight at six.
