Sobriety Checkpoint scheduled for September 29 in Craigsville

Craigsville, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Nicholas County on Friday, September 29.   

The checkpoint will be at 18800 W. Webster Road in Craigsville from 8:00 PM  until Saturday, September 30 at 2:00 AM. 

The location may get moved to a different location if traffic gets congested or the central location becomes unsafe.  

The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the public on the dangers of driving while under the influence.
