Sobriety Checkpoint planned for Beckley

Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia State Police will hold a sobriety checkpoint at the intersection of route 19 and Johnstown Road in Beckley on Thursday.

The checkpoint will operate between 6 p.m. and midnight.

State troopers will be looking for impaired drivers as part of an effort to educate the public about the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
