SNAP benefit replacement applications extended

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)-If you are someone who lost food due to the recent outages and received snap benefits, we have some good news for you.

The West Virginia Department of Human Service and Bureau for Family Assistance is extending the time frame for SNAP benefit replacement applications.

Residents in Fayette and Nicholas counties, as well as others outside our viewing area, will have until April 22nd to submit applications.

All other counties will have until the close of the business day April 12 to submit for it.
