It’s been a fairly cloudy and misty day for some across Southern West Virginia. The rain potential will not last long though, as rain could occur Sunday afternoon and evening for some people, before it starts to dry out. Temperatures will also start to slightly warm up as we remain under mostly sunny and mostly dry conditions after Sunday.

As we take a look at the futurecast rainfall from the European model over the next 7 days it’s not really showing much. Under a tenth of an inch of rain for the majority of people. Most of this rain falls on Sunday, as the European model has no rain over our entire area from Monday through next Saturday. The weekend does seem interesting though, as models are projecting a large area of active weather from Georgia up to North Carolina. It doesn’t look to impact our area, however.

Temperatures will continue to remain fairly steady, only deviating a few degrees. The sky will remain mostly sunny Monday through Saturday and the rain chance goes away starting Monday. We will have to watch beyond our 7 day forecast for that area of rain to see exactly where it’s going to move.
